The action unfolds in the grand premises of Jorasanko Thakur Bari where Kadambari harbors an unconfessed reverence for the budding poet. With Rabindranath looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life with marriage, isolation increases for Kadambari. Shared moments of joys and poetry with him, become her protective armor of affection but also pain.
